Portland, OR — More Than February is proud to announce the opening of its first all-Black Artist art gallery this September, curated and founded by Ronin Roc, an accomplished artist and visionary committed to creating spaces that elevate Black creatives. The gallery, launching at the end of September in Portland, will serve as a dynamic community space designed to celebrate the diversity, complexity, and breadth of Black artistry beyond traditional confines.

Born from a profound need to dismantle the limitations placed on Black artists—often seen only through the lens of Black History Month or as a monolithic cultural narrative—More Than February’s gallery represents a bold reimagining. It underscores that Black creatives are not only integral to the fabric of American history but are also vital contributors to global culture, innovation, and artistic expression.
